Wenger has blasted Arjen Robben for allegedly diving to get Wojciech Szczesny sent off in Arsenal’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
The Gunners eventually lost the first leg of the last 16 tie 2-0, but were level when Szczesny was dismissed for making contact with Robben inside the box.
But Wenger says Robben made the most of the contact – and that he told him on the touchline that he was furious with his antics.
‘Robben certainly made the most of it,’ said the Frenchman – ‘as I told him.’
‘Robben has enough experience to make more of it. Bayern made the most of every single contact.
